Suminagashi Watercolors by Yoju

Yoju's unique suminagashi (literally "spilled ink") paintings are created using both the traditional Japanese suminagashi techniques and the more recent western marbling methods. Her motifs include water forms, fish and animal images, landscapes, floral patterns and other vegetation, celestial themes and human portraiture. These motifs are arranged in groupings in the following 8 pages. Images on these pages are also included under separate subject listings.
